It is a powerful allegory of the human condition, imbued by Wagner with a multitude of dramatic and musical symbolisms.

GÖTTERDÄMMERUNG tells about Siegfried's betrayal of Brünnhilde, his vengeful death, the destructions of Valhalla, and the fall of the gods.
