“The Gustavo Dudamel Inaugural Gala embodies all that defines the Los
Angeles
Philharmonic as a 21st-century orchestra,” said Los Angeles Philharmonic
President
Deborah Borda. “Under the leadership of Gustavo, we will see the orchestra
expand
even further than it has in the past in our role as a cutting-edge organization,
while still remaining true to our traditions. That’s even evident in
the evening’s program - pairing the world premiere of John Adams’
City Noir with Mahler’s First Symphony - and will be demonstrated
throughout the season.”

including YOLA, the signature program of Gustavo Dudamel. A very limited number
of Gala package tickets remain ranging in price from $2,500 to $15,000 and
