RICHARD LEECH at the

Richard Leech made his Los Angeles Opera debut in February 1993 as the Duke in Verdi's Rigoletto and in November 1996, he made his second appearance as Cavaradossi in Puccini's Tosca, both to critical acclaim.

It appears that the tenor will increasingly become a regular at this young but well-endowed company, which was founded only in 1986. This season, Angelenos will have a chance to see him in one of his popular roles -
Pinkerton in Puccini's Madama Butterfly, which will run in January 1999. Below is a table of Richard Leech's appearances with the L.A.Opera.
