Soprano
Maureen O'Flynn

Americans across the USA got a good glimpse of Maureen O'Flynn at the nationally telecast 1998 Richard Tucker Music Foundation's Annual Lincoln Center Gala - a pretty face, a beautiful voice, a flawless rendition of Caro nome, Gilda's aria from Verdi's Rigoletto. It is not surprising that today Gilda has become a calling-card role in addition to Lucia di Lammermoor which she has sung to acclaim in Philadephia, Cincinnati, Vienna and Trieste. A rising soprano, her specialty is bel canto and her repertoire is fast expanding: Adina in L'elisir d'amore, , Elvira in I Puritani, Marguerite in Faust, Leila in The Pearl Fishers, Amenaide in Tancredi, Juliette in Romeo et Juliette, Marie in The Daughter of the Regiment, Linda di Chamounix, - roles which she has performed to the delight of audiences all over the world.
