A Renée
Fleming Benefit Recital
for the Children
of September 11
The HOPE
FOUNDATION invites you to join Renée Fleming and pianist Steven Blier
in a private performance to benefit the children of September 11.
Here’s how it came about…
Renée Fleming and Alan Blankstein, founder and chairman of the HOPE
Foundation, make a promise to each other in college. She would be an
opera star; he would bring more hope into the world. If they both succeeded,
she agreed to one day help him do more for children…
That day has arrived.
On the evening of December 12, 2001, you are invited to join us at the
home of Carswell and Laurie Berlin on Riverside Drive in New York City
for a magnificent evening of music and socializing that will benefit
children who are among the hardest hit by the events of September 11.
